Kiitotie in brief
Kiitotie (runway in english) is Jussi Seppälä’s blog, photo gallery and playground.
I have been interested in aviation for as long as I can remember. I started shooting airplanes with a Nikon Coolpix 3200 in 2004. A small improvement was achieved when I switched to Panasonic Lumix FZ5 in January 2006. I purchased my first DSLR, Nikon D50, in September 2006. That was the point when the hobby changed to semi-serious spotting. My current equipment consist of a D200 body and Nikkor and Sigma lenses.
There are many approaches to aviation photography. My goal is to shoot as many aircraft and situations as possible and to improve my skills in just about everything. So far I haven’t shot much outside Finland but sure intend to.
Kiitotie.net was established as a test project in 2005. At first it was supposed to be nothing but a simple photo gallery but slowly it turned into a blog with a photo gallery.
If you have use for my photos please go ahead and ask for them. I’m happy to grant rights for non-profit use if some ground rules are agreed on. Commercial use of my photos can also be arranged for separately agreed compensation.
All inquiries and feedback can be sent to kiitotie@gmail.com.
